About me

Aracele Torres

Hi! I’m a UX/UI Designer and also a Historian. I’m lucky enough to be able to combine two passions of my life: technology and History, in my work. Before deciding to become a UX/UI Designer, I worked as a History teacher and researcher for most of my life. This experience gave me some of the main skills that I use today in my daily work as a UX/UI Designer, such as critical thinking, empathy, problem solving, good communication, data analysis, data collection, data presentation, teamwork, and adaptability.

I’m also passionate about open technologies and have been collaborating with free/open source communities since 2010. This experience has been essential in connecting me with people from around the world and enhancing my interpersonal abilities.

During my career as a UX/UI Designer, I have had the opportunity to work on a variety of cases, including desktop systems, mobile apps, web platforms, and websites. This diversity of experiences has enhanced my adaptability and understanding of different user and business needs in various contexts.

I’m deeply passionate about digital technology and firmly believe that it should be accessible to everyone. This passion and conviction drive my work as a UX/UI Designer. My primary objective is to assist users and businesses in navigating their digital products seamlessly, ensuring they don’t experience frustration.
