Carreira RH User

This system is a B2C (Business-to-Consumer) web platform developed by the human resources consulting company Carreira RH. The system has two fronts, one for the candidate user and another for the recruiter and/or company user. On the user front, it is possible to create a candidate profile, search for job openings according to this profile, and apply for these positions. The idea behind the system is to conduct the selection process through an Artificial Intelligence (AI) system, which would analyze a series of data provided by the candidates during the process and assist recruiters and companies in making decisions when hiring their professionals.

Project Challenges

One of the main challenges of this project was redesigning the old system. It had been developed without the involvement of a professional user experience designer and, as a result, lacked a well-defined UX strategy. Both recruiters and candidates who used it complained about the difficulties in operating it. In my favor, I had the fact that the system needed a complete overhaul, and it was very easy to identify where and how to do it. Against me, yes, there’s always a downside! Against me was the time factor! I had a very limited timeframe. I was the only Product Designer working on the project, so I had to race against the clock to avoid delays in delivering to the development team. The project was funded with government money and required issuing reports and being accountable at the end of 2 years.
